The target for the conference is to exchange best practice information of production, distribution and utilization of biogas between the Nordic countries and to establish cooperation and commercial contacts.

The previous Nordic Biogas Conference in Malmö in 2008 had 257 registered participants from 15 different countries. The majority of the attendants work within biogas areas in municipalities, local waste management, farming and consultancy.
